Founded in 2015 by a group of passionate explorers in the heart of Colombo, ACAP TRAVELS was born from a simple idea: to share Asia’s hidden wonders with discerning travellers who crave authentic experiences. What began as a two-person startup arranging day tours around Sri Lanka quickly grew into a boutique agency crafting bespoke journeys across the continent—rooted in one of Asia’s most vibrant, impeccably clean cities.

D.S.A. Roshan Motha
Chairman
D.S.A. Roshan Motha is a dynamic professional with strong leadership and business acumen, playing a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction at ACAP Travels & Tours. With extensive experience in corporate development and industry networking, he brings a results-oriented approach to partnership building, operational growth, and client relations.
Recognized for his integrity and commitment to excellence, Mr. Motha is driven by innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring ACAP remains competitive in a constantly evolving travel landscape. He is widely respected for his ability to connect with stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and guide teams toward achieving long-term objectives.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he actively advocates high service standards and sustainable business practices within the travel and tourism industry. With foresight and dedication, D.S.A. Roshan Motha contributes significantly to the company’s expansion and reputation in both local and international markets.

Nihilia Aboo
Managing Director
As the Managing Director of ACAP Travels & Tours, Nihila provides strategic leadership and overall direction to ensure the company’s continued growth and success. With over 9 years of experience in the Tourism], Nihila plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s vision, driving operational excellence, and fostering strong client relationships.
Nihila Aboo oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, including strategic planning, business development, financial management, and corporate governance. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its market presence, strengthened its service offerings, and built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
With a strong vision for the future, Nihila Aboo continues to guide ACAP Travels & Tours toward sustained growth, operational efficiency, and long-term success.
Dilan De Silva
Director
Dilan De Silva serves as a Director at ACAP Travels & Tours, bringing strong leadership, strategic insight, and extensive industry experience to the organization. With a proven track record in Tourism, Dilan De Silva plays a key role in guiding the company’s vision, strengthening its operations, and ensuring the highest standards of performance and professionalism.
In this role, Dilan De Silva contributes to major decision-making processes, oversees critical business functions, and works closely with the management team to implement strategies that support long-term growth and sustainability. He is committed to enhancing operational efficiency, fostering innovation, and building strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
With a clear vision for the future and a passion for driving progress, Dilan De Silva continues to play an essential role in the ongoing success and development of ACAP Travels & Tours.
Yudy Kanagasabai
Director
Mr. Yudhishtran Kanagasabai currently serves as the Independent Non–Executive Director of ACAP Travels. He is also the Independent Non–Executive Chairman of Asia Capital PLC, Asia Leisure Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, and Wadduwa Resorts (Pvt) Ltd. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Board Audit Committees and an Independent Non–Executive Director of Eswaran Brothers Exports (Private) Limited, Abans Finance PLC, and MainGate (Private) Limited. He further serves as an Independent Non–Executive Director of Cargills Bank PLC, Arpico Insurance PLC, and Kelani Cables PLC.
Mr. Kanagasabai previously held several distinguished leadership roles, including Chairman of South Asia Textiles Limited (January 2021 to May 2021) and Chairman of Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC (August 2021 to October 2023). He served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Union Bank PLC from August 2016 to December 2018 and was a Commissioner of the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka from May 2018 to November 2018 and again from December 2018 to November 2019.
He was also a Non–Executive Director of Hunter and Company PLC and Lanka Canneries Limited from 2017 to March 2022, and a Director of both Cargills Ceylon PLC and Cargills Food Company Limited from 2016 to July 2023. Mr. Kanagasabai retired as an Independent Non–Executive Director of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC after completing his six-year term on 31st January 2024. He also retired from the Boards of Ambeon Capital PLC and its subsidiaries with effect from 29th May 2024.
A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Mr. Kanagasabai brings over 35 years of distinguished experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Singapore, retiring as the Senior Partner of PwC Sri Lanka and the Maldives on 31st March 2017.
Mr. Kanagasabai brings disciplined governance, strategic foresight, and strong financial stewardship to ACAP Travels, contributing significantly to the company’s growth trajectory and corporate integrity.
Sooraj Radha
Director
Mr. Sooraj Radha is a Director of ACAP Travels and a business professional with strong international academic exposure and leadership experience in the shipping, logistics, and business sectors. He commenced his education at Colombo International School (CIS) and subsequently completed his Sixth Form studies at Millfield School in the United Kingdom, where he excelled both academically and in sports, representing the school in cricket.
He pursued higher education in the United Kingdom, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at the University of Nottingham, followed by further academic advancement at the University of Buckingham. To strengthen his strategic, leadership, and organizational management capabilities, Mr. Radha went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Bedfordshire, providing him with comprehensive insights into global business practices and innovation-led growth.
Mr. Radha has played a key leadership role as a Director at SAR Shipping, contributing to the operational growth and continued expansion of the family-owned shipping and freight forwarding business. His exposure to international policy and leadership development was further enhanced through his participation in the Future World Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C.
With a strong educational foundation, practical industry experience, and a global outlook, Mr. Radha brings strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial approach to his role at ACAP Travels. He continues to build on his family’s legacy while actively exploring new opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation across emerging business sectors.
